Project Description
Refund & Cancellation Policy
At TNNotary.online, we value your time and strive to deliver reliable, prompt, and professional remote notarization services. This policy outlines your rights and our responsibilities regarding cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for remote online notarization (RON) appointments.
1. Appointment Cancellations
- At least 2 hours’ notice: You may cancel your appointment with no penalty if you provide at least 2 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled session time. You may request a full refund or reschedule at no additional charge.
- Less than 2 hours’ notice: Cancellations made with less than 2 hours’ notice may not be eligible for a refund. We encourage you to reschedule to avoid forfeiting your fee.
- No-shows: Clients who fail to appear for their appointment within 10 minutes of the scheduled time, without communication, will be marked as a no-show. No-shows are not eligible for a refund.
2. Rescheduling Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule:
- You may reschedule your session for free up to 1 hour prior to the appointment.
- Last-minute rescheduling (within 1 hour) may incur a $10 rebooking fee.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:
- Technical issues on our end that prevent the session from being completed.
- The notary fails to appear for a confirmed appointment.
- Your identity cannot be verified due to a system error, not user error.
All other refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, please use our Contact page and include your appointment time, email address, and reason for the request.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
- Incorrect or illegible documents provided by the user.
- Failure to meet technical requirements (e.g., no webcam or audio).
- User abandonment of the session before completion.
5. Processing Refunds
If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 3–5 business days. TNNotary.online is not responsible for delays caused by payment processors.
